Beef bi-products – Liver or tongues anyone? Nah, I didn’t think so. There are many people who like to fry up a batch now and again. If the grease isn’t bad enough, then eat some bi-products to add more to your already high cholesterol.

Canned crustaceans? – Uhm you mean as in shrimp and fish? I don’t think so. There are many that you think in your mind are very good for you. So since they are ‘good’ for you, you decide to go ahead and fry them; making them better? I sincerely doubt it. They are still high in cholesterol.

Fast foods – Well, this is definitely a no-brainer (to say the least). Uhm, maybe or maybe not, who knows. Maybe you didn’t know that those morning biscuits and sausage were loaded with all the fattening grease? Perhaps you don’t think about it while driving down the road on your way to work? Who knows, but now you do.

Pork anyone? – Did you know that pork is high in fat and cholesterol already. They are some of the nastiest animals and eat just about anything. They are full of cholesterol and sadly enough, many people fry them in grease.

There are many types of food that are loaded with cholesterol. We can choose to be knowledgeable in what we do or we can continue feeding our bodies junk. The choice is yours!

This is an abstract from a dissertation by Hjalti Sölvason MBA student at the University of Edinburgh on developing market entry strategies as one of the main challanges facing companies wishing to expand into new market segments.

Managers are always under pressure to maximise shareholder value, and when they face a saturated market at home, they begin to search for new markets outside their home country. In other words they seek geographic diversification.

It makes a foreign market even more attractive if it is growing faster than the home market itself, and as improved communications might be considered a supportive reason for opening up new markets overseas.

Improving productivity is one reason for going abroad in order to obtain greater profits and revenue. Greater profits on overseas investments can be a strong motive for going abroad. Service companies frequently follow customers overseas to prevent competitors from gaining access to their clients.

By using foreign production to lower cost the company can move part or all of its production facilities to the country from which its competition is coming, and enjoy such advantages as less costly labour, raw materials, or energy. Protecting foreign markets is often necessary, which can lead to a change from exporting to overseas investment.

Another reason why a company should be interested in entering new markets is by following the competitor. Once a competitor has set up a production plant in a country, management must decide rapidly whether to follow suit or risk losing the market forever.

There’s so much to see and do in our country’s capital, Washington, DC that it is kind of very unlikely to see them all in one visit. However, that did not stop my wife and children from trying to cover everything on our current vacation. Here are only a few of the highlights we experienced on our trip.that trip.

Our first challenge before we even left home was finding an affordable place to remain in the Washington, DC area. For the main part, hostels are pretty high priced in that area and make it tricky to locate a good place for a family of 5 to stay without totally blowing the old budget. We ended up selecting the American Inn in Bethesda, MD and are very pleased with our choice. It is not the most glamorous hotel in the region but very convenient, clean and affordable. So, we highly reccomend it when looking for Bethesda hotels.

Then, on to the tourist sites we enjoyed. Of course we started with the famous National Monuments and Memorials. These included the Lincoln Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial,the Washington Monument, and the Arlington Countrywide Cemetery. There were many more as Washington is a town of monuments and memorials. Many are located on the nation’s Mall but others are pretty spread out so that you will get a very good walk exercise if you intend to visit them all on foot as we did. (I admit I had to visit my Sacramento podiatrist when I got back home to deal with some foot pain from so much walking)

Next came our tour of the three different branches of official Presidency buildings.When sightseeing in Washington, D.C, the government, the Capitol and the high Court are key places to go to. Touring these impressive buildings will help you understand more about our govt and its history. Plan ahead and find out about schedules and special events. The state is the home and office of the President and is located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. To arrange a tour you must make a request thru one of your members of Congress. Group tours are held Tuesday through Sat. from 7:30 a. M. and are scheduled one month in advance.

At the east end of the nation’s Mall stands the majestic U. S. Capitol Building. Due to heightened security, the Capitol is open to the public for guided tours only.

The one thing you will want to do for sure is take a large amount of pictures as you think that you’re going to remember everything as you are going to remember everything as you are so impressed at the time but believe me, your memories have a tendency to fade and it is always better to have some footage to help bring those memories back into sharp focus. I’m not a Commercial Photographer but wish I was to have better captured some of the beauty we saw on ths trip

Also, in addition to the typical tourist attractions discussed above, you will find the Washington, DC area has some of the best restaurants in the country. I suppose this may be due to all of the important politicians that live there as well as the many dignitaries that visit the area and need to go out to eat.

Well, that rather sums up our trip and I can only hope that you get the opportunity to visit the Washington, DC area.

Their are lots of reasons why I really don’t like gym memberships like for one the membership fee, inclement weather; waiting your turn to workout always sucks, distance and transportation from your home to gym. It is possible to change the spatial effects of stereo sound on headphones to better approximate the presentation of speaker reproduction by using frequency-dependent cross-feed between the channels, or–better still–a Blumlein shuffler (a custom EQ employed to augment the low-frequency content of the difference information in a stereo signal). While cross-feed can reduce the unpleasantness that some listeners find with hard panned stereo in headphones, the use of a dummy head during recording, with artificial pinnae, can allow on playback through headphones, the experience of hearing the performance as though situated in the positron of the dummy head.
